Beschreibung

Indische Hutaffen sind braune oder graubraune Primaten. Sie haben Haarbüschel auf dem Kopf, die an ein Toupet oder einen kleinen Hut erinnern, daher ihr Name. Es gibt zwei Unterarten, von denen die eine einen dunkleren Bauch und die andere einen helleren Bauch hat.

C’est un primate de couleur marron ou marron grisâtre. Il tire son nom des touffes de poils implantées sur la partie supérieure de sa tête, semblables à une houppette ou à un petit chapeau. Il existe deux sous-espèces, l’une ayant le ventre plus foncé et l’autre plus clair.

Description

It is a brown or greyish-brown colour primate. It has tufts of hair on the upper part of the head reminiscent of a toupee or small hat, from which its name is taken. There are two subspecies, one with a darker stomach and the other with a paler stomach.

Son primates de color marrón o marrón grisáceo. Tiene mechones de pelo en la parte superior de la cabeza que recuerdan a un tupé o un pequeño sombrero, de ahí su nombre. Hay dos subespecies, uno de estos tiene un estómago más oscuro, y el otro tiene un estómago pálido.

Posiadają one czarną sierść, z wyjątkiem białego pasa, który zaczyna się na głowie, rozpościera po plecach i ponownie łączy się na ogonie. Ich głowa i uszy są małe, a łapy krótkie, z płetwiastymi palcami i pazurami, których używają do kopania i poszukiwania jedzenia.

ETOLOGIA

Jest to ssak prowadzący nocny i samotny tryb życia. Ciąża trwa około dwóch miesięcy. W każdym miocie rodzą się od 2 do 10 młodych, które rodzą się ślepe i głuche oraz nie opuszczą nory, dopóki nie skończą półtora miesiąca.

Ha un mantello nero a eccezione di una fascia bianca che inizia dalla testa, si divide sul dorso e si ricongiunge alla coda. La testa e le orecchie sono piccole. Le gambe sono corte con dita palmate e artigli che utilizza per scavare e cercare cibo.

ETOLOGIA

È un mammifero notturno e solitario. La gestazione dura circa due mesi e nascono da 2 a 10 cuccioli. Ciechi e sordi alla nascita, non lasceranno la tana fino a quando non avranno un mese e mezzo di età.

BESCHREIBUNG

Bis auf einen weißen Streifen, der am Kopf beginnt, sich am Rücken zweiteilt und sich am Schwanz wieder verbindet, ist das Fell schwarz. Der Kopf und die Ohren sind klein. Die Pfoten sind kurz und haben Schwimmhäute sowie Krallen, mit denen er gräbt und nach Futter sucht.

VERHALTEN

Es handelt sich um ein nachtaktives Säugetier und er ist ein Einzelgänger. Die Trächtigkeit beträgt etwa zwei Monate. Mit jedem Wurf kommen 2 bis 10 Junge auf die Welt. Sie sind bei Geburt blind und taub und verlassen ihren Bau erst nach anderthalb Monaten.

It has black fur, except for a white stripe that begins at the head, branching over the back and meeting again at the tail. Its head and ears are small, and its feet are short with webbed fingers and claws that it uses to dig and search for food.

It is a nocturnal and solitary mammal. Gestation lasts approximately two months. In each litter, 2 to 10 pups are born blind and deaf, and will not leave the den until they are one and a half months old.

Presentan un pelaje negro exceptuando una banda blanca que empieza en la cabeza,  se difurca sobre el dorso y vuelve a  unirse en la cola.  Su cabeza  y orejas son pequeñas. Y sus patas son cortas con dedos palmeados y garras  que utiliza para excavar y buscar comida.

ETOLOGÍA

Es un mamífero nocturno y solitario. La gestación dura aproximadamente dos  meses. En cada camada nacen entre 2 a 10 crías, nacen ciegos y sordos y no saldrán de la madriguera hasta que tengan un mes y medio de edad.
