Native plant reserve

Native plant reserve
With over 550 species, the Canary Islands ate very rich in endemic plants. Many of them are andangered, 12 species live solely in Fuerteventura.
Native plants are an important part of natural heritage. These plants are those which have not been intentionally or unintentionally introduced by mankind. Among them endemic plants are notable, which are also exclusive to an area, whether the whole archipelago, a certain island or part of an island.
With the creation and maintenance of this 5 hectare reserve with over 50 species, Oasis Wildlife Fuerteventura wishes to promote knowledge of these plants and contribute to their conservation.
