Description
It is a medium sized primate with a long tail. Its fur is brown, the lower section paler and the face dark grey. They are excellent swimmers, foraging in mangroves to catch crabs, frogs, shrimps and other invertebrates. They have cheek pouches, where they can store food to transport it away from the place of foraging.

Es un primate de tamaño mediano y de cola larga. El color del pelaje es de tonos marrones, la parte inferior es más pálida y la cara gris oscura. Son excelentes nadadores, forrajean en manglares capturando cangrejos, ranas, camarones, y otros invertebrados. Tienen bolsas en las mejillas, en donde pueden almacenar comida para transportarla fuera del sitio de forrajeo.

OPIS

Jest to małego rozmiaru ssak. Kolor jego futerka jest oliwkowy na plecach i białawy w obszarze brzusznym. Pysk i uszy są również jasne. Samice i młode są przeważnie jaśniejsze niż samce. Jego głowa jest zaokrąglona, z dużymi i wystającymi uszami, a nos jest krótki i bezwłosy.

È un primate di piccole dimensioni, il manto presenta un colore olivastro sul dorso e un colore banchiastro lungo la zona del ventre. Inoltre, anche li muso e le orecchie sono di tonalità chiare. In generale, sia le femmine adulte che quelle più giovani possiedono colori più chiari rispetto ai maschi. La testa è tonda con orecchie grandi e prominenti ed il muso corto senza peli.

Zwergmeerkatzen sind kleinwüchsige Primate. Ihr Fell ist am Rücken olivgrün und im Bauchbereich weißlich gefärbt. Gesicht und Ohren haben ebenfalls eine helle Farbe. Für gewöhnlich sind die Weibchen und Jungtiere heller als die Männchen. Ihr Kopf ist rundförmig und hat große abstehende Ohren, ihre Schnauze ist kurz und unbehaart.

Generalmente las hembras y juveniles son más pálidos que los machos. La cabeza es redondeada con orejas grandes y prominentes, el morro corto y sin pelo.

Marmozety białoczelne mają czarnawo-brązowe futro i czarny ogon z lekko zaznaczonymi pierścieniami.

Chociaż tym, co charakteryzuje ten gatunek, jest biały kolor czoła, policzków i gardła oraz czarne kępki uszu.  Marmozety są nadrzewnymi naczelnymi z długimi, mocnymi pazurami, które pomagają im przyczepić się do pni drzew.

Gli uistitì di Geoffroy hanno un mantello marrone nerastro e una coda nera leggermente anellata. Anche se ciò che caratterizza questa specie è il colore bianco della fronte, delle guance e della gola insieme ai ciuffi neri delle orecchie. Gli uistitì sono primati arborei con artigli lunghi e forti che li aiutano ad aggrapparsi ai tronchi degli alberi.
