Descripción
El escinco gigante de las islas Salomón es el escinco    más grande conocido. Se caracteriza por un cuerpo voluminoso y cabeza maciza con unas mandíbulas musculosas. Presenta unas garras fuertes y afiladas que le sirven para trepar a los árboles, con la ayuda de su larga cola prensil. Tiene un color verde  con tonos amarillentos o grisáceos, y en ocasiones presenta unas bandas transversales más oscuras.

Descripción
Son tortugas de tamaño mediano con piel negra-marrón y un caparazón negro oscuro, marrón o gris. Estas tortugas son muy fáciles de identificar debido a las escamas de colores brillantes en sus extremidades. Estos colores varían desde amarillos hasta naranjas y rojos.

Derzeit gibt es drei Elefantenarten: den Asiatischen Elefanten (Elephas maximus) und zwei verschiedene Arten in Afrika: den Afrikanischen Waldelefanten (Loxodonta cyclotis) und den Afrikanischen Savannenelefanten (Loxodonta africana). Bis 2018 wurde angenommen, dass sie ein und dieselbe Art sind.

It has approximately 3,900m², which has been designed with the most modern technologies to guarantee maximum animal welfare. The Jebel Serj is an impressive 1357 m altitude mountain located in Tunisia. Currently an area of ​​100ha. has been declared a Natural Reserve in order to protect and restore biodiversity. In 2016, 8 Cuvier's gazelles born in our facilities were transferred to this reserve, allowing the species to return to this area.

Mein Name ist Emolo. Ich wurde 2002 in einem Zoo in Ungarn mit einer Fehlbildung am rechten Vorderbein geboren.

I am Emolo. I was born in a zoo in Hungary in 2002 with a malformation in my right front paw. 

I came to Oasis Wildlife with this injury, and here I was placed in the hands of their veterinary team. I learned to let them take x-rays of my paw voluntarily and to treat my hoof without the need for anaesthesia, which is dangerous for an animal as big as me.
