Description

The cow is a very large ruminant with a short and wide neck from which hangs the dewlap. The long and mobile tail has a tuft of black hair at the tip, which it uses to swat away the flies. It has no teeth on the upper gum, an evolution that, together with a long, flexible and rough tongue, allows it to feed on grass and pasture. There are many different sizes and colours, depending on the type of purpose for which they are bred.

Es un rumiante de gran tamaño con el cuello corto y ancho del que cuelga una papada. El rabo largo y móvil tiene un penacho de pelos en la punta que utilizan para espantar a las moscas. En la encía superior no tienen dientes, una adaptación que, junto con una lengua larga, flexible y rasposa, les permite alimentarse de hierba y pasto. Existe gran variabilidad de colores y tamaños, dependiendo del tipo de producción al que se destine.

Ssak małych rozmiarów, z ciałem pokrytym przez długie futerko w różnych kolorach zależnie od rodzaju. Ma dużą głowę zwieńczoną bardzo dużymi uszami. Oczy umieszczone bocznie sprawiają że ma bardzo duże pole widzenia. Tylne kończyny są krótsze niż tylne, dzięki temu potrafi daleko skakać.

È di taglia piccola, con il corpo ricoperto da una pelliccia lunga, abbondante e di diversi colori, a seconda della specie. La testa è grande e allungata, con delle orecchie grandissime, rispetto al resto del corpo. Gli occhi situati in posizione laterale permettono di avere un’ampia visuale. Le zampe anteriori sono più corte di quelle posteriori: ciò consente loro di realizzare grandi salti.

Dieses Nagetier trägt ein langes, dichtes Fell, das je nach Rasse unterschiedliche Färbungen aufweist. Es hat einen großen, länglichen Kopf und Ohren, die im Verhältnis zum Körper sehr lang sind. Seine seitlich am Kopf stehenden Augen verhelfen ihm zu einem weiten Blickfeld. Die Vorderläufe sind kürzer als die kräftigen Hinterläufe, was ihm ermöglicht, hoch und weit zu springen.

Ils sont de petite taille et leur corps est recouvert d'un pelage touffu, long et de différentes couleurs en fonction de leur espèce. Leur tête est grande et allongée et ils ont de très grandes oreilles en comparaison avec le reste du corps. Leurs yeux situés sur les deux côtés de leur tête leur donnent une très bonne vue. Leurs pattes avant sont plus courtes que les pattes arrière : cela leur permet de faire de grands bonds.

Es de tamaño pequeño y con el cuerpo recubierto por un pelaje largo y muy abundante. La cabeza es grande y alargada con unas grandísimas orejas en comparación con el resto del cuerpo. Los ojos situados en posición lateral le permiten tener un gran ángulo de visión. Las patas delanteras son más cortas que las traseras: esto le permite dar grandes saltos.

Dorosłe samce odróżniają się od samic tym że są nieznacznie bardziej podłużne, samice są szersze, zwłaszcza w okresie tarła.

La loro colorazione cambia in funzione delle distinte varietà, ma generalmente sono rosse-arancio con macchie bianche e nere. I maschi adulti si differenziano dalle femmine perché sono leggermente più allungati, e le femmine sono più larghe soprattutto nel periodo riproduttivo.
