OPIS

Jest to największy z dzioborogów. Jego upierzenie jest czarne z białymi piórami pierwotnymi, które widoczne są tylko podczas lotu. Samiec, który jest większy, ma czerwony kolor na pysku i szyi, podczas gdy u samicy gardło jest niebieskie. Ma długi, mocny i zakrzywiony dziób, a jego łapy są solidne i czarne.

Il maschio, più grande, presenta un colore rosso sul viso e sul collo mentre nella femmina la gola è blu. Il becco è lungo, forte e curvo. Le zampe sono robuste e di colore nero.

Er ist der größte Hornvogel. Sein Gefieder ist schwarz mit weißen Primärfedern, die nur beim Fliegen zu sehen sind. Die noch größeren Männchen weisen an Gesicht und Hals eine rötliche Färbung auf, während die Kehle der Weibchen blau ist. Er hat einen langen, kräftigen und geschwungenen Schnabel. Die Beine sind robust und schwarz.

C’est le plus grand des bucorves. Son plumage est noir avec des plumes primaires blanches qui ne sont visibles qu’en vol. Plus grand que la femelle, le mâle a une tache rouge sur la tête et la gorge alors que la tache de la femelle est bleue. Son bec est long, fort et recourbé. Les pattes sont robustes et noires.

Es el cálao de mayor tamaño. Su plumaje es de color negro con plumas primarias blancas, que solo se observan cuando vuela. El macho, más grande, presenta un color rojo en la cara y cuello mientras que en la hembra la garganta es de color azul. Presenta un pico largo, fuerte y curvo. Las patas son robustas y de color negro.

Jest to średniej wielkości antylopa. Samiec ma dwie długie grzywy: jedną na plecach, a druga rozciąga się od podbródka do brzucha. Samce mają kolor od jasnobrązowego do czekoladowego brązu, który ciemnieje z wiekiem, i tylko one posiadają rogi, które są długie i poskręcane. Samica jest mniejsza i posiada sierść koloru kasztanowego, z jaskrawymi oraz białymi pasami.

ETOLOGIA

Są one aktywne głównie w ciągu dnia i występują w parach lub małych grupach od 3 do 15 osobników. Ciąża trwa 8 miesięcy i rodzą zazwyczaj jedno młode.

I maschi variano di colore dal marrone chiaro a un marrone cioccolato che si scurisce con l’età. Solo i maschi possiedono le corna; sono lunghe e a spirale. La femmina è più piccola con un mantello castano e vistose strisce bianche.

ETOLOGIA

Sono attivi principalmente durante il giorno e si trovano a coppie o in piccoli gruppi dai 3 ai 15 individui. La gestazione dura 8 mesi e mezzo dopo di che di solito nasce solo un cucciolo.

Er ist eine mittelgroße Antilope. Das Männchen hat zwei lange Mähnen, eine am Rücken und die andere vom Kinn bis zum Bauch. Die Farbe der Männchen reicht von einem hellen bis zu einem Schokoladenbraun, das sich mit zunehmendem Alter verdunkelt. Nur die Männchen haben Hörner, die lang und spiralförmig sind. Das Weibchen ist kleiner, hat ein braunes Fell und auffällige weiße Streifen.

C’est une antilope de taille moyenne. Le mâle est pourvu de deux longues crinières, une sur le dos et l’autre allant du menton à la poitrine. Sa couleur varie du châtain clair au brun chocolat qui s’obscurcit avec l’âge. Seul le mâle a des cornes qui sont longues et en spirale. La femelle est plus petite avec un pelage châtain et des rayures blanches caractéristiques.
