Description

They are small with a chestnut-brown coat and a long striped tail that measures about the same as the rest of their bodies. The legs are short with strong nails in the fingers and toes with which they dig the ground to sniff with their elongated noses and find food. They are known for their incredible sense of smell. They are plantigrade as they walk using the entire sole of the foot on the ground.

Son pequeños con el pelaje castaño pardo y una larga cola rallada que mide prácticamente lo mismo que todo su cuerpo. Las patas son cortas con uñas fuertes en los dedos que les ayudan a cavar en el suelo para olfatear con su hocico alargado y buscar alimento. Se caracterizan por su increíble olfato. Son plantígrados, ya que al caminar apoyan toda la planta de sus pies.

Małpy rzędu naczelnych średniej wielkości, pokryte futrem o bardzo charakterystycznym ubarwieniu. Grzbiet ma kolor czerwonawy, podbrzusze białe i pysk ma odcień niebieski, z oliwkową maską. Ogon jest długi i służy do utrzymywania równowagi podczas skoków z drzewa na drzewo. Samce są nieco większe od samic.

Son primati di taglia media con una pelliccia dai colori vivaci: la regione dorsale è rossiccia, la zona ventrale bianca e la faccia è bluastra, con un colore giallastro nella zona intorno agli occhi. La lunga coda è utile a mantenere l’equilibrio saltando di ramo in ramo. I maschi sono leggermente più grandi delle femmine.

Sie ist ein mittelgroße Primat und hat ein auffällig gefärbtes Fell: An der Oberseite ist es rötlich, an der Unterseite ist es weiß und das Gesicht ist bläulich mit einer weißen Maske. Sie benutzt ihren langen Schwanz, um bei ihren Sprüngen von Ast zu Ast das Gleichgewicht zu bewahren. Die Männchen sind etwas größer als die Weibchen.

Ce sont des primates de taille moyenne avec un pelage très voyant : la zone dorsale est rougeâtre, la zone du ventre est blanche et sur la tête, on remarque des couleurs bleutées sur un masque de couleur jaunâtre. Leur queue est longue et leur sert de balancier lorsqu'ils sautent de branche en branche. Les mâles sont légèrement plus grands que les femelles.

These are midsize primates whose coats have bright colours: the dorsal region is reddish, the ventral area white and they have bluish colours on the face, with a yellowish mask. The tail is long and they use it to keep balance as they jump from branch to branch. The males are slightly larger than the females.

Są to małpy z rzędu naczelnych o bardzo długich i cienkich kończynach, przystosowanych do wchodzenia na drzewa. Mają chwytliwy ogon który używają jak rękę, w celu przemieszczania się z gałęzi na gałąź i odżywiania się. Mają długie futro w czarnym kolorze, głowa jest nieznacznie jaśniejsza. Forma ich ciała przypomina pająka. Na każdej kończynie mają tylko 4 palce.

Sono primati dalle estremità molto lunghe e sottili, atte per arrampicarsi. Hanno la coda prensile, che usano come fosse un arto in più, poiché serve loro a muoversi tra i rami e a cibarsi.  Sono ricoperte da una pelliccia lunga e nera, solo la testa è leggermente più chiara. La loro forma è simile a quella di un ragno, da lì il nome. Le zampe inferiori hanno solo 4 dita.
