Opis

Ma gęste futerko w kolorze czarnym z czerwoną spodnią częścią ciała, białą plamą na grzbiecie i w okolicach pyska. Przystosowały się morfologicznie do życia i znajdowania pożywienia na wysokich partiach drzew, na wysokości powyżej 10 m. Palec przeciwstawny, pazury i długi ogon pozwalają jej się poruszać szybko i zdobywać pożywienie. Żyją w grupach liczących do 15 osobników, często utrzymują relację z innymi gatunkami tamaryn.

Ha il dito opponibile, artigli sulle dita e una lunga coda, che li aiuta a muoversi agilmente e a procacciarsi il cibo. Vive in gruppi fino a 15 individui e addirittura si rapporta alle altre specie di tamarini.

Der Rotbauchtamarin hat einen orangeroten Bauch und einen kleinen weißen Schnurrbart. Er hat sich morphologisch dem Leben in den oberen Schichten der Baumkronen, in über 10 m Höhe, angepasst. Er besitzt einen opponierbaren Daumen, Krallen an Fingern und Zehen und einen langen Schwanz, mit dessen Hilfe er sich agil fortbewegen und Nahrung sucht.

Leur ventre est de couleur rouge et ils ont une moustache blanche. Ils se sont adaptés morphologiquement à vivre et à se nourrir dans les hauteurs des arbres, à plus de 10 m de hauteur. Ils ont un pouce opposable, des griffes aux doigts et une longue queue qui leur sert de balancier pour se déplacer rapidement et se nourrir. Ils vivent en groupes pouvant atteindre 15 individus et inclure également d'autres espèces de tamarins.

It has a red belly and a white moustache. They have adapted morphologically to living and feeding in the highest parts of trees, at over 10 metres’ high. They have an opposable thumb, nails in their fingers and a long tail that helps them move agilely and find food. They live in groups of up to 15 individuals and even relate with other species of tamarin.

Tienen el vientre color rojo y un bigote blanco. Se han adaptado morfológicamente para vivir y alimentarse en las zonas altas de los árboles, a más de 10 m de altura. Tienen dedo oponible, garras en los dedos y cola larga que les ayuda a moverse ágilmente y conseguir alimento. Viven en grupos de hasta 15 individuos e incluso se relacionan con otras especies de tamarinos.
