Description

Racoons are small, with long grey-brown coloured coats, and with a characteristic dark mask around their eyes and a ringed tail. They have 40 teeth that are very well adapted to omnivorous feeding. They have 5 fingers/toes on each leg, which they use to pick up food and climb the trees. They are plantigrade meaning they walk with the entire sole of the foot on the ground and they are not adapted to making large jumps. The male is slightly larger than the female.

Son pequeños, con el pelo largo de color gris marrón y con un característico antifaz oscuro alrededor de los ojos y la cola anillada. Tienen 40 dientes muy adaptados a la alimentación omnívora. En cada pata cuentan con 5 dedos que usan para coger los alimentos y para trepar por los árboles. Son plantígrados, pues al caminar apoyan la palma de toda la extremidad, y no están adaptados para dar grandes saltos. El macho es ligeramente más grande que la hembra.

Ten mały ssak ma długie ciało pokryte futrem w kolorze czerwono-żółtym. Ogon jest bardzo gęsty i ma ten sam kolor co reszta ciała, z wyjątkiem końcówki która jest biała. Broda, gardło i górna część piersi są jaśniejsze. Mają oczy w kolorze pomarańczowo – brązowym i zaokrąglone uszy. Mają 5 palców na przednich łapach i 4 na tylnych.

Questo piccolo mammifero dal corpo allungato presenta una pelliccia di colore rossiccio-giallo. La coda è molto folta e dello stesso colore del resto del corpo, ma con punta bianca. Il mento, la gola e la parte superiore del petto sono più pallidi rispetto al resto del corpo. Gli occhi sono tra l’arancione e il marrone e le orecchie sono tondeggianti. Hanno 5 dita nelle zampe anteriori e 4 dita nelle zampe posteriori.

Dieses kleine Säugetier hat einen lang gestreckten Körper und ein rötlich-gelbes Fell. Der dicht behaarte Schwanz hat außer der weißen Schwanzspitze dieselbe Färbung wie der Körper. Das Kinn, der Hals und die obere Brustregion sind heller als der Rest des Körpers. Die Augen sind orangebraun und die Ohren abgerundet. Die Fuchsmanguste hat 5 Zehen an den Vorderbeinen und 4 an den Hinterbeinen.

Ce petit mammifère au corps allongé possède un pelage de couleur jaune rougeâtre. Leur queue est très touffue et de la même couleur que le reste du corps à l'exception de la pointe qui est blanche. Le menton, la gorge et la partie supérieure du poitrail sont plus pâles que le reste du corps. Leurs yeux sont de couleur orange marron et leurs oreilles sont arrondies. Leurs pattes avant ont 5 doigts et les pattes arrière en ont 4.

This small mammal has a long body and a yellowish reddish coat. The tail is very thick and the same colour as the rest of the body but with a white tip. The chin, throat and upper part of the chest are paler than the rest of the body. Their eyes are orangey brown and the ears are round. They have five fingers on their front legs and 4 toes on their rear ones.

Este pequeño mamífero de cuerpo alargado posee un pelaje de color  rojizo amarillo. La cola es muy espesa y del mismo color que el resto del cuerpo pero con la punta blanca. El mentón, la garganta y la parte superior del pecho son más pálidos que el resto del cuerpo. Los ojos son de color naranja marrón y las orejas son redondeadas. Poseen 5 dedos en las patas delanteras y 4 dedos en las patas traseras.

To małe zwierzęta pokryte futrem w kolorze brązowo – szarym, mają długi paskowany ogon który mierzy praktycznie tyle samo co ciało. Krótkie nogi zakończone są palcami z długimi pazurami, którymi rozkopują ziemię, następnie zbliżają wydłużony pysk żeby węszyć pożywienie. Mają bardzo dobrze rozwinięty zmysł węchu. Są stopochodne, jako że chodząc opierają na ziemi całą stopę.

Sono piccoli, dalla pelliccia castana e dalla coda a righe, lunga all’incirca come tutto il corpo. Le zampe sono corte, con unghie forti nelle dita, che li aiutano a scavare il terreno per annusare, con il loro muso allungato, in cerca di cibo. Si caratterizzano per il loro incredibile olfatto. Sono plantigradi, poiché nel camminare appoggiano tutta la pianta dei piedi.
